  1. Hi my 15 year old and I (54) would really like to take up rowing.
I’m a runner and fancy a complimentary sport and one that is team based too. Anna is keen to keep fit and strengthen up.

    1. Hi Lisa, apologies for such a late response, your message was lost amongst an ether of spamming messages; I have just deleted all those not relevant and come across yours.
We have a lot of rowers who run so it would fit in nicely with your training regime.
Our Adult Learn to Row course runs over eight weekends, Saturday and Sunday mornings, and although advisable to attend both sessions weekly, it is not compulsory, just helps the new skills to bed in quicker.

Time is spent mainly on the water – we get you out in boats as soon as possible as that is where people want to be, although we do use rowing machines and what we call bank tubs, as well.

If you are interested, please email our secretary via secretary@broxbournerowingclub.org who will give you all the info you need.

Regarding Anna, she would need to join the Junior Learn to Row course which runs during the summer holidays; again, our Secretary would be able to assist.
Thank you for the message, and apologies once again for the slow response
