Juniors

Broxbourne Rowing Club has an active Junior Squad. Our aim is to develop our Junior rowers to race at an appropriate level in regattas and head races.

Junior Learn to Row: The Club runs a Junior Learn to Row course each year during the summer holidays. For children aged 12 and over. If you are interested, please fill in an Expression of Interest form on the Learn to Row section of this website and we will contact you nearer the time and invite you to sign up for the course.

Help from parents /carers; The Junior Squad is run by the Vice Captain Junior Squad and Coaching Coordinator with vital support from parent /carer helpers.

All Junior Squad coaches are DBS checked and undertake safeguarding training in accordance with British Rowing requirements

Active support from parents/carers with training at the Club and at events away from the Club is essential to enable us to continue to run the Junior Squad. We will provide training for parents willing to help with coaching.

Tuesdays and Thursdays Indoor gym 5pm-6.30pm (winter hours).

(These sessions transfer to rowing once the clocks change)
