I haven’t rowed for a 5 years and would like to give it a try again.
Hi there. If you have rowd previously then our learn to row course may not be appropriate for you. If you could email secretary@broxbournerowingclub.org with details of your age, sex, rowing experience etc we can put you in touch with the right squad.
I have never rowed on water so far confined to my tunturi indoor rowing.I would not be interested in competition at my advanced age but am anxious to start single sculling.Can you let me know the likely costs.?…..J S Cox
Can I ask what your advanced age is? We have competitive rowers aged over 70! Best bet is to join one of our twice yearly learn to row courses where you can learn sweep rowing and sculling. You can then decide what to take forward. As far as costs are concerned the learn to row is £125.
